Has anyone run Heart of Ashes and have your players encounter The Match Thief poem? I'm prepping and worried that the players might get this, read too much into it, and spiral into a bunch of theories about the adventure that are not necessarily that important. As I read it, the poem is pretty cryptic, and not all that important to the plot. But maybe I'm missing something.

Didn't expect that Adobe Stock wouldn't allow editorial until one had 100 downloads. I'm currently only on Shutterstock and am a total amateur hobby-shooter with about 15 downloads in six months, all editorial, about 250 total images uploaded.

I hear Adobe Stock is a better bet however in terms of earnings potential.

Should I pursue Adobe as well? Or, because I'm mostly editorial, should I just focus on Shutterstock?

Reporting on the fit of these items in the TENBA BYOB 7 Camera Insert.

  • Nikon Zf
  • Voightlander 40mm 1.2f
  • Nikkor 26mm 2.8

With the divider in the middle of the TENBA BYOB 7 either the above lenses will fit comfortably. However, the camera will not fit on the other side, even if you remove any lens from the body.

If you remove the divider, the Nikon Zf body will fit into the BYOB 7 nicely. Nothing else will fit in the bag however.

You can fit both the Voightlander 40mm 1.2f and the Nikkor 26mm 2.8 into the BYOB 7 with the divider in the middle. However, the 26mm is so small that you will probably want to put something on top of it to keep it from bouncing around inside the BYOB. The BYOB does come with a velcro flap that you can use to split a pocket vertically, which will keep the 26mm in place more or less.

I think I'll try a Tenba BYOB 9 Camera Insert next to see if I can fit this camera and both lenses, but actually I think that one might be too big for my needs.

Looking to bring the kid shopping for an electronic drum kit. Would like recs for a shop, or area, where we can try several models until we find what she likes.

Is Ochanomizu still the place to go? Would any large Shimamura Gakki be just as good?

Would be first kid for the kid. Yes, want electronic as we can have all that noise all the time.

Thanks for any tips - dad is not a musician.

Has anyone tried to run this with a time limit? I have seen suggestions to add a time limit, and when the time limit is up the structure of Castle Cini starts to cmpletely break down, and the ritual is no longer able to be stopped.

However, how long should the time limit be?

Anyone have an idea of how many dungeon turns it takes to get through the castle? Or a similar time metric? I guess a time limit of, "before the next dawn" might work to prevent a long rest and force the group to push through?

Question about room S12 Charmayne's Bedroom in Heart of Ashes.

It says that the creatures inside attempt to hurl characters through the castles weakened walls, and that it's a 20ft drop to the ground from there.

Question, the stairs up were 40 ft. 20f drop to the ground, but what ground? To outside of the building? I assume by through the wall they are talking about the north or east wall.

Any help appreciated here!
