So I've used both of these lotions - currently using the la roche posay.

I'm trying to compare the ingredients, and noticed that eucerin has lactic acid, and la roche posay has citric acid.

From what I understand, lactic acid = humectant, gentler AHA, good for dark spots. Citric acid = astringent, clarifying, AHA, good for clogged pores

I'm looking for more wisdom on the ingredients list. I only know the basics of some ingredients, I don't know much about skincare chemistry. Just what I've learned through the years. Any ingredients that are particularly beneficial for KP which would make one lotion "better" than the other?

For price comparisons, eucerin is $17 and la roche posay is $36.
