Hi all, my jade has started changing from a strong waxy green to this purple hue and wrinkled look. I’ve seen similar posts on here and while it could be sun blushing, I’m worried as it’s started sprouting new roots on the trunk? Is it rotting?

I’ve included some pics of the soil and the window where it gets a lot of light.

Did I do a rookie mistake years ago putting it in a pot too low down so it grew up and not out to get light?

Any other tips on how to make it healthy? I don’t want to repot if it’s going to stress it more.
