my female Syrian hamster has a big lump. it’s growing but she’s still eating, drinking, and running so that’s good. as soon as i saw it i brought maple to the vet the next day. they tried to get a sample with a needle but nothing came out. they said it could be something hard and pokey that she ate stuck in her like a piece of hay. they have her some antibiotics. it’s day two of antibiotics and the she hasn’t gotten any better i’m so worried about her 😔i’ve just been spoiling her extra with treats and stuff

any advice on how to help her or make her more comfortable

also the vet said if the antibiotics don’t work that they will try surgery 😖
