To Become a passholder...or not to become a passholder...that is the question...

From 2012 to 2020 me and my husband were passholders. 2020 hit...passes went away for us.

We finally bit the bullet and got the four day Florida resident deal this year. However, every day we have chosen to go, seemed like it was super crowded, more than I remember before Covid. I researched and this seems like the norm now, but I would love to be wrong.

We went in February 7th and 8th. Wasn't terrible but Hollywood Srudio rides were slammed with over one hour waits. We went to Epcot this weekend and I forgot about the run. Very packed. Over 1.5 hour waits for rides and food lines were insane. However many weekends in March was spring break so I avoided.

We are supposed to do Animal kingdom this weekend...but I am having second thoughts and may take a day off to go on a weekday in hopes its better.

We are debating passes again, but I am hesitant. I feel very out of my element. Before we used to just get up and go and now it seems more stressful. Do any Florida passholders have advice to navigate the parks as passholders? Are passes worth it now or is it always crowded nd overwhelming? Am I just doing something wrong? I assume I am.

Gravity Falls Present

Hello all!

My six year old son has (finally) fallen in love with Gravity Falls. Tonight at Cub Scouts he even was invited on stage to tell a joke...and he told the pelican and the bill one from season one. We are proud parents.

Anyway, my son has been asking me to make him a journal like Dipper. I was going to buy the journal book and make it extra special and hide it outside somewhere to find on the last day of school to kick off summer break. Is this a bad idea? Good? I can't decide.

Does anyone have any other ideas that I can do besides this? We already do a big summerween blow out every year as well...but trying to make it fun for him. You only experience childhood once...
