Hello Everyone,
Recently my PF transfer got rejected due to EPS contribution remittance was not done by my previous employer.
For context, my 1st employer contributed to EPS (which I didn't know until a few days ago). I was able to successfully transfer PF and EPS service history from 1st to 2nd employer. But 2nd employer did not contribute to my EPS. Both are trust.
Now, when I try to transfer the PF from 2nd to 3rd employer (current) it got rejected due to the above reason. When I checked with the retirals team, they mentioned that PF amount has been transferred and asked to ignore the message. Which seems true because I checked in the Alumni portal where it shows the PF amount to be 0.
My queries are,
- How should I rectify this whole situation?
- My current company is not contributing to EPS. How should I fix this?
- Should I ignore the rejection like my previous company says?
- Should I also inform my current company about this and ask them to contribute to EPS? They are currently not contributing as checked in the PF portal.
Thanks in advance for your responses. I know I've not been the brightest in this case but I would like to rectify this mess I've created and would appreciate all the help I can get.

A and B are trusts so we will not be able to see the records. However, DOJ DOE for EPS is present for both. I say A contributed to Pension because I see Pension number and the amount in documents.
