Hello, I am a little over a week (on day 9) into Contrave and I seriously feel no different. No bad side effects yet which is nice, except for the terrible dry mouth for sure, but I don’t really notice a change in my eating behaviors or habits. I can say that maybe at dinner I’m a little more full than I usually would be, and therefore my portion size is smaller at this time, and I’m okay with passing up an after dinner snack or treat, but I still have the food noise that everyone talks about during the day. I feel like I still want to snack all day long, and I’m still hungry throughout the day.

However I know I’m still pretty new to Contrave. Is this all normal for 9 days in? Or did you guys notice a bigger change in your diet by this point? When did it start to kick in for everyone? Trying so hard not to feel discouraged.

Hey all! Just looking for some support. I am on day 4 of Contrave. I take one pill in the morning right after breakfast at about 8 am. Saturday is when I go to 2 pills a day. So far I’ve been feeling overall fine. I feel a little brain foggy during the day so far and a bit tired but nothing that I can’t handle so far. I’ve noticed a slight change in my appetite already. I’m far less hungry during the day and I feel full faster. No nausea, my mood is same as it always is and may be even a little calmer! I’m normally pretty anxious at baseline.

For some reason I decided to weigh myself this morning and I’ve gained 1 pound. A part of me knows that it was probably too early to check in and see how my weight was but also I am so discouraged that I’ve gained instead of losing or even staying the same. Any words of encouragement would really help right now! Or perhaps has this happened to you, too? When does it start to kick in?

Thanks for listening!
