Simple riff:

1st play-through: clean (w/delay)

2nd: added Ringerbringer. Listen for the flutter pulsing in and out with the LFO

3rd: added Blue Box

This thing is going to be a blast. Of course making noise is tons of fun, but I also like to take pedals that do crazy shit and tame them into something musical. I hope that Warm reissues some of the other Moogerfoogers. If not, I might have to get one of the Behringers.

P.S. let’s keep it a secret that the Blue Box is awesome. Prices are still really cheap on those because people dismiss them as a one-trick pony. It’s more like a two-trick pony, and both tricks fucking rule

I was messing around with a few cheap pedals trying to get a good overdrive tone. Nasty/brittle kinda tone.

This isn’t perfect, but I like it in person (excuse the iphone mic quality).

The amp is totally clean. It’s an MXR Distortion+ with a Boss OS-2 in front of it. I swear, people hate the OS-2, but I think it stacks very well. Try it out if have a couple of similar pedals.

Figured out how to play this last night. I am 90% sure that Veni Reilly fingerpicks, but I’m just strumming here. I need to practice it some more, that second part is kinda tricky. I have no idea how he does that lead run on the recording. It sounds like 5 guitars multi-tracked. Anyway, this isn’t a perfect performance, but it’s fun to play, and I think I at least got the guitar tone
