Girlfriend asked to move out and cut contacts with me or resign by HR

Forced resignation, misrepresentation of documents & personal interference . Need advice (JAFZA / Dubai Soutb

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for legal guidance regarding an employment issue my girlfriend recently faced in Dubai, within a free zone setup (either JAFZA or Dubai South).

She relocated from India for this job and was still under probation. During her employment, the company raised a “conflict of interest” concern because of our personal relationship (I work in the same industry but a different company). This was never mentioned in her contract or during onboarding.

The situation escalated with the following:

She was told to either distance herself from me and certain friends (including ex-employees of the company) or resign

She was repeatedly pressured to move into company-associated accommodation despite refusing

Statements were made implying strong influence over labour authorities( Mohre) , in the context of asking her to resign

She was told she would be signing an “NOC,” but the documents turned out to be visa cancellation and termination papers

She signed under pressure, with the understanding that she wouldn’t receive settlement or be able to move jobs otherwise

We do have recordings and written communication related to these interactions.

I’d really appreciate clarity on the following:

  1. In free zones like JAFZA / Dubai South, does UAE Labour Law (Federal Decree Law No. 33 of 2021) still apply fully, or are there separate frameworks for disputes?

  2. If documents were signed under pressure or misrepresentation, can they be legally challenged?

  3. Would this fall under forced resignation / constructive dismissal in the UAE context?

  4. What kind of compensation or remedies are realistically possible in such cases?

  5. Should we approach Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation first, or go directly through the free zone authority?

We’re trying to understand the correct legal route and whether this situation has a strong basis for action.

Would really appreciate insights from anyone with experience in UAE labour law or similar cases.

Thanks in advance.

Sale: Anya 2 3BR townhouse at 3.25 million

Title: 3BR + Maid Townhouse for Sale in Arabian Ranches 3 – Priced at AED 3.25M | Investor & End-User Friendly

Hey agents are welcome

I’m listing a 3-bedroom + maid townhouse in Arabian Ranches 3 and wanted to share full details here for anyone seriously exploring Dubai real estate whether you’re an investor or planning to move in.

This unit is part of one of Emaar’s most popular suburban communities, known for its family-friendly vibe, greenery, and long-term growth potential. Arabian Ranches 3 has been getting a lot of traction over the past couple of years, especially among buyers who want a balance between city access and peaceful living.

Property Details:

3 Bedrooms + Maid’s Room

Approx. 1,900 – 2,000 sq.ft built-up area

Private garden space

2 covered parking spaces

Open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area

Balcony + modern finishing

Handover expected around Q4 2026

The layout is practical and suits both families and tenants. The maid’s room adds flexibility (can be used as storage, office, or helper room). The overall design is clean, modern, and in line with Emaar’s newer townhouse communities.

Community Highlights:

Gated community with 24/7 security

Parks, cycling tracks, and open green spaces

Clubhouse, kids play areas, and swimming pools

Upcoming retail and school options within the community

Easy connectivity to major highways

Investment Perspective: This is where it gets interesting. Arabian Ranches 3 is still developing, which means there’s room for capital appreciation as infrastructure and retail fill in over time. Rental demand for 3BR townhouses in this area is steady, especially from families relocating within Dubai.

Expected rental range post-handover is around AED 130K/year depending on the exact unit and market conditions.

That said, I’ll be honest—this isn’t a “quick flip” type of deal. It’s more of a stable, long-term hold in a strong master-planned community.

Price: AED 3.25M

I’m open to serious discussions if you’re genuinely interested. Whether you’re buying your first townhouse, upgrading from an apartment, or adding a stable asset to your portfolio, this is a solid option in today’s market.

Feel free to DM me if you want more details, floor plans, or comparable transactions in the area.

Happy to help, even if you’re just exploring.
