I saw someone describe some show like this and it piqued my interest. I would love the magical girl aesthetic with DBZ hype.

I like running into movies like this from before franchises were a given. I watched Along Came A Spider before I knew it was a sequel to Kiss the Girls. Running into these older duologies makes me feel like when I read a mystery book, love it, then find out it's a part of a series.

I'm not sure how to word this. Like, if there's a defense that absolutely does not work without the defendant testifying.

As a side question, would it be legal to have a certain defense allowed only if the defendant testifies? In that scenario, the defendant isn't technically being restricted from their fifth amendment right since they can choose to use a different defense where they don't have to testify.

I'm looking for Revenge but noir and in a setting that would make it a proper fit for San Diego Comic-Con.
