When/why did the discourse around McKenna go from "generational, can't miss talent" to "1st overall is up in the air."

Basically the title. McKenna has been a can't miss talent for 2-3 years, being called generational and such, but probably since the last year it's been a debate if the top pick should be him, or Stenberg, or even one of the defensemen. Why did it change, and why did it start?

Apologies if this has been asked before; I couldn't find anything on it. I have the Born to Be Wired beta on my SummerCart64, and it runs perfectly fine other than saving CAWs. So, I make the edits and save them, but then when I go to play a match they are erased.

Anyone have insights here or know a fix? Thanks!

I have been learning Italian for a couple of years, and am beginning to pick up the origins of names. Now, I know that a lot of European English names have to do with occupations (Smith, Cooper, Miller) or lineage (Johnson, Matheson, Anderson.) In places like Sweden or Finland, some last names are based on locations such as Niemi meaning Cape/Cove or Lund meaning Grove. This is true for Italian as well, names like Fantino (horse jockey) or Castello (castle) fit the mould of occupation/geographic location.

But, there are also some Italian last names that seem to be made up at Ellis Island and some make no sense to me. To illustrate my point, below is a list of last names that I know personally with their English translations. Is there any rhyme or reason to why the "authentic" Italian names are so random? Names like 'Tortorella' (turtle dove) are beautiful, but why use it as a surname? Thanks in advance!

My list:

  • Gambacorta (short leg)
  • Capobianco (white head)
  • Biondo (blonde)
  • Cossa (likely a misspelling of "cosa" meaning "what.")
  • Rosso, Rossi (Red)
  • Altobelli (tall + beautiful [plural])
  • Carbone (charcoal)
  • Cavalli (horses)
  • Tedesco (someone from Germany)
  • Gallo (rooster)
  • Esposito (exposed)
