I'm gonna keep it because I love Roon but Tidal sounds worse than Amazon Music, Spotify, and Pandora on my WiiM Pro and even in my car.

I've gone through all the settings multiple times and I have no way to explain it. In the car maybe, because I have to take the quality level down a notch to keep it from buffering occasionally when I'm on Bluetooth. Even my wife noticed it without any prompting and she neither knows anything nor cares about such things. I mean I still find it a good value since Roon and Tidal together cost no more than the price of an album each month and it still sounds good but it would be great to switch from my turntable over to my streamer and have Tidal sound just as good as the turntable or my other streaming services and not lose anything. It's just a bit thinner and not as full or immersive. I have an Adcom GFP 555 preamp, and a Crown Macro Tech 1200 amp, with a Dual 1219 turntable with a Stanton 681EEE cartridge as one source and a WiiM Pro streamer as another, into a pair of Magnepan MG-IIIa speakers. So even though it's not the best stuff ever made I've got to think it's better than half the stuff out there. I don't think there's anything I can do about it at this point in time but I wonder if anyone experiences the same thing or if anyone did anything about it? Thanks

A Nice Meta Smart Glass Procurement Story

My wife and I were talking with some friends a couple months ago about smart glasses so I started perusing marketplace out of curiosity and found a pair of Oakley Meta HSTN glasses that I negotiated down to $150 but the dude said he didn't have a charger. So I told him I'll buy a charger from Amazon and send it back if the glasses won't charge. So I ordered an open box charger from Amazon for $10.96 and when I open the box up there's a charging case inside that says Ray-Ban on the front. I open it up to check the charger connection there is a new pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses inside. Plus the Oakleys charge with it as well. So for $160.96 I now have two pairs of Meta glasses, one Oakley and one Ray-Ban, and a charging case. Obviously I also ordered another identical $10.96 charging case both because I need another charging case and because maybe the robots will fuck up again and send me another $10.96 pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

Has anyone ever put a B&O Beogram 7000 DAC in a Sony PlayStation 1 Model SCPH-1001or 5501? If so, how difficult was it and how did it sound? If not, can it be done and why would you not do it if you could?

I have a prescription that is new although I don't have the DP because they said they only do that when people are in the store getting fitted for frames. But I'm hopeful that somebody in this Oakley meta glasses community might have some experience with this beyond what I have found out that I don't know. Looks like there might be a place in China that will make them for me and get them delivered to me in a couple weeks and they claim that the lenses just snap in and snap out. But I wonder if anybody has had luck with insurance or if there might be some sort of lens provider that I can contact and they can take care of me without me having to pay an arm and a leg at full retail. Any suggestions would be welcome.

It's got at least a drawer full of cylinders. It's been played on many occasions and still works. It looks great, sounds great, and is physically sound. He wants to sell it sell it quickly so I thought I would give this a shot. This is in the greater Dayton Ohio area.
