Need some advice
Hi , I have accepted the settlement money and bought the car back , it was a cat s write off , insurance have emailed me and stated that to carry on with the insurance I have to get a fresh mot done my car is in a secure garage off public road getting fixed and to make matters more complicated the insurance finishes on Thursday I don't intend to buy insurance from them anyway as the price has doubled, also mentioned in the email was that I have to register the car with dvla again ? This is the first time I have claimed and don't know what to do in what order ? Do I buy insurance and then get the new mot ? What about dvla , I have seen on some forums where they mentioned that when I sell the car eventually and transfer the log books the new log books will mention the cat s and you don't have to do anything regarding dvla at the moment
