I can’t for the life of me figure out who justifies paying 3-4x retail (prime cut, local farm) or even 2-3x top tier steakhouse prices for a steak you still have to cook yourself. What kills me is when those same restaurants list srf as their purveyor.

I used to buy it occasionally years ago but the prices are just ridiculous now.

We have a Miele all gas range DGC 6860 cleanSteel and it's about 2.5 years old. My wife and I suddenly smelled gas this past Sunday and called the gas company. They came out and tested the gas line from the shutoff behind the stove to the point it enters the stove and didmt find a leak. However they did detect potential gas where the gas line goes in and from the left side burners.

Any thoughts in what could have failed already?
