Gemini Flash 3.5 fail again

I've been using Codex, which is amazing for creating web application templates. Then the new Google Gemini 3.5 Flash came out, so I wanted to try it again to see if it's any better.

Then I asked it to adjust the UI to a certain theme. Voilà! It worked, but it broke the functions.

I tried again with Codex and received the same prompt. This time, however, the UI updated without breaking the core function.

Gemini failed again.

TLDR: Day to day conversation I mostly say and hear people now say "Ask ChatGPT" not "Google it" not even "Ask Gemini".

Anyone else notice themselves doing this?

I used to say “Google it” whenever I needed to search for something. Now I catch myself saying “Ask ChatGPT.”

I still use Google for quick, simple questions. But when the question is specific, nuanced, or needs a bit more reasoning, I usually go to ChatGPT instead.

I’m on Plus using Thinking mode, so maybe that’s why it feels more useful for those kinds of questions.

Edited: Added TLDR for people who cant read paragraphs.
