Found a quick calming effect
We have Mito Light panel, small one - Starter 4.0. I read that it can help regulate hormones, so the other day I did a session aiming it at my lower belly. I did 20 minutes with RL and NIR both at 100%, and standing about 15-20 cm away.
That was in the evening, after that I moved about, prepared for bed, moved some furniture that was in the way - I mean I did not sit around. After about 30 minutes when I sat down I realized that I’m very very calm. Deep breathing calm, serene and sleepy. So when I went to bed I fell asleep fast and the watch in the morning gave a 96 sleeping score. 😄
All good, but can I consistently achieve the calm? 🤓
Today I did 10 minutes with the rest the same as the other day, in the afternoon. Felt calmer but not sleepy.
Tomorrow will try the 20 minutes in the evening.
According to Claude AI it’s an effect on the vagus nerve and that’s why it calms me and put me in a “rest and digest” mode.
I thought it might be useful for others to try.
