is it moral to learn from a book written by a problematic author.. even if you’re not giving them money..? bcs of 🏴‍☠️.. is it still not listening to the perspective of someone with bad views? even if they don’t write about that, isn’t it still immoral? and doesn’t it have value to read someone’s book or appreciate part of what they wrote, value given to the author, even if they don’t know it and can’t profit from it..?

so i’m wondering.. what’s good to read these days? i like fantasy, thriller, horror, mystery, sf.. a lot of things, romance too, obv, a hot/cool love interest that piques my interest would be cool, but mainly i want a good story (preferably with not that many diamond choices 😭 if possible, none, but i’ll take all the recs)

also, does anyone know what happened to sophookles? the author of college of eternity, my butler, cursed evil love, etc.. i used to love her stories and followed her on insta, so one day, remembering her, i looked her up and saw she doesn’t post there nor on episode anymore, so i’m wondering what happened to her, if anyone knows
