Considering PureAir install. Is TESP test necessary?

I trust our HVAC company based on past work. We're looking for a HEPA air filter system and they proposed a PureAir system (20-16). We have two return air ducts with 14x24" filters and a 4 ton system. The guy who came out said we have plenty of duct capacity, but he didn't measure TESP. Is this something that I should insist on, or am I just reading too much on the internet about things I don't know about?
