Logistics help pleaseeee
In my iron factory i have these 3 inputs one for iron rods, screws, and iron plates, the first image shows the three inputs and I want them to be fed into assembler, one line of assembler making modular frames, one line for reinforced plates, and one line for rotors,
what I’m trying to do is have each output of assembler go into a smart splitter which has one belt feeding the next line of assemblers with some of the output of the first line of assemblers, then the overflow of output will go into a second smart splitter to feed a dimensional depot then when the depot fills the overflow goes to a train station, in the second image I show what i mean by this layout, the reinforced iron plates output comes down then splits left to feed modular frame assembler line, then overflow splits right to a second smart splitter feeding a depot with the over flow of the depot going into a train station, the train station isn’t shown in the photo but that is my intention,
anyway, my question is how can I cleanly do this same setup with the lifts and smart splitters and depots for all of my outputs, like have my plates feeding reinforced plates then overflow doing what I did in the second image like I just explained and have this done for all 6 of my end products of this factory, which are iron plates iron rods screws, modular frames , reinforced plates, and rotors because I don’t want to be using all of my base items like plates rods screws into further production because I want to keep some for building and storage so how can I cleanly set this whole 6 output depot smart splitting system up. Btw the third and 4th image are just examples of how I want input and outputs to come up/ go down through the floor to the system below. Thanks everyone please be specific with answers because I’m kinda not good at these things 😅
First proper factory any opinions or advice on what to improve or change would be great
Hey everyone, been working on a new factory for making base iron parts, (plates, screws, rods, reinforced plates, modular frames, and rotors) because I’m sick of making all parts by crafting table, I will probably make a factory for all the other parts I need like copper parts and electronics, compounds etc,
This is my second factory ive made, during building the first one I didn’t really understand architecture so it was litteraly just a messy factory with a plain box around it, but I’ve learnt a little bit, still obviously not great at it and the factory is definitely not perfect but here are some photos anyway, it’s still a work in progress so it’s not finished, let me know what you think and what I should change etc, also any advice on colours because it looks a bit plain to me and a bit ugly but I’m open to any suggestions, also any advice for how to make the interior and exterior look less boring because some of the walls and generally exterior/interior look a bit boring to me, but with the front wall in the first pic I’m pretty happy with that just the other parts of the inside and outside are a bit boring for me so just let me know! Thanks everyone, also does anyone know a way I can implement some colour and spark into this build to make a little more appealing

Tips for tier 5 and 6 after completing phase 2 of the space elevator
Hey guys, just looking for a few tips on all the new features of tier 5 and 6 like unlocking oil production, fluid packaging, petroleum power, industrial manufacturing, trains, etc I’m a little lost as to if I should start building my permanent factories that I will use all game and these are the factories I will spend the most time to look architecturally beautiful or if I should stick to making quick messy factories that get the job done quickly in order to continue to progressing or if this would cause me to progress through the phases to fast and by late game have terrible factories that need a ton of work, this is the main dilemma I’ve come across and I don’t know which is a better choice, the problem with the quick temporary factories is that they are messy and disorganised and generally not very aesthetically pleasing but on the other hand these are going to be taken down and rebuilt better later on in the game, so I was wondering your guys opinion, any tips on tier 5 and 6 aswell as my factory dilemma would be great
Side note, I hate to admit it but this game is like crack x100, I have a shameful 130 hours on this and I’m not even exaggerating i downloaded the game 12 days ago 😅 before downloading this a read reviews online and searched it up and everyone said how addictive it was, at the time, I didn’t believe this…… 130 hours deep and I’m still in denial 😂
I hate to admit it but I’m around 100 hours in and currently all my factories are disorganised logistics placed inside a big box with no depth or intricacies, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of builds and especially places to build where I can integrate nature into my builds, here’s some builds I really liked just for reference, I know, a little too advanced for my point in the game but I’m trying really hard to build something I’m satisfied with because I am never able to be satisfied with my builds and I always tear them down and start again but I can never make something I like. Any tips would be helpful! 😁
