Do I stop?

My Dr. isn’t responding yet. I’m on day 5/14 of moxi for ureaplasma treatment (doxy 7 days prior) and since last night’s dose I’m having old pain spots resurface but it’s all of them at once. Had so much trouble sleeping last night with my leg pain. Now today it’s all over, my hands, arms, legs & glutes. I had a tendon snap in my 20s, right thigh, that’s what’s bugging me the most.

I’ve never gotten an dx for what this is but it’s scaring me it’s all over. I’ve had this calmed down for years and it usually takes turns where it pops up. I was thinking of stopping at the 7 day mark as it is, that seems to be the more standard tx with Moxi. Trying not to panic & doing all the calming things possible.

Great Grandmother’s Irish bread, possibly written on a bank slip. 1953.

Just missing the minutes of how long to bake.

I’m so confused & frustrated how ureaplasma caused me so many problems for years, and one swab last year said negative. I agreed to swab for it again last week with the exact same symptoms and now it’s positive. There’s no co-infection either time. I started the antibiotics now, but I’m so frustrated it took so long to catch this. And how Drs were fine telling me oh it HAS to be yeast even though every culture is negative & the treatment fails because blah blah blah.

I also can’t wrap my head around post antibiotics being negative, then actually believing it until I’m symptom free for a very long time.

ENORMOUS THANK YOU TO THIS SUB. I never would have known what a Juno test or ureaplasma were if it weren’t for y’all.

I’ve had flare ups of burning for two years. So. Many. Negative. Swabs.

Confirmed on Juno and a PCR at my GYN for ureaplasma.

I’ve never had a yeast infection cause me significant burning sensations, nor not respond to diflucan. Yet I kept being treated for yeast and told oh it might not show up on a swab blah blah external blah blah. No! It’s been this!

I’m suspecting the load was too small when I asked for this test last year. And it’s still only at a 3% in my Juno test, along with L iners which isn’t the best. But it explains my symptoms, along with many others who confirmed ureaplasma.

Frustrated it took this long and SO MUCH MONEY in both testing and absolute agony from burning.

My largest symptom was burning on my vulva.

Burning on vulva - not responding to any sort of relief besides short lived ice compress and lidocaine jelly. Sometimes coconut oil (small amount outside only)

When I took penicillin for strep I think I had die-off burning symptoms but it wasn’t the right antibiotic to get rid of it

“Yeast” suspected from burning redness & sometimes swelling but multiple failed treatments. Diflucan (relief for 1 day which I believe was just inflammation response) prescription terconazole, and multiple over the counter options.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
