How to compress pdf without losing image clarity for HR uploads?
Hi everyone,I recently ran into a weird issue while sending my portfolio to HR. I’m on a Mac, and when I compressed my files using the native utility, it turned into a weird blank folder starting with "M" when opened on their Windows machine. Total nightmare.After some digging, I started using PDNob PDF Editor. For standard, text-based documents, it’s good, it managed to shrink a 20-page doc down to about 500kb without any issues.However, I’m now dealing with a project that has a lot of high-res charts and images. When I use my current workflow, the images get noticeably pixelated.Does anyone have tips or specific settings for how to compress PDF with images but without losing quality when there are lots of visuals involved? Is there a specific compression algorithm I should look for, or perhaps another tool that handles image downsampling better?Appreciate any advice!
