A couple questions
I have a fiberbuilt hourglass mat which isn't that big and also can have a little squishiness/give to it, so it's not great to put the square right on the mat. I've had great success putting it on a small piece of 2x4 just off the mat. Does this change the distance measurements at all? More generally, assuming I can consistently get the square to green light me (I can), does the setup affect the measurement much? I ask because I went to the range for the first time in a while this weekend and the trackman there was saying everything was 10-20 yards past where I've been hitting on the square. It's fine if the square is off but consistent, at least I can have fun and improve, but just curious because more accurate is always better.
Does the club selection matter at all? Obviously putter vs not-putter matters, but does driver vs 6 iron vs PW for example matter at all? Or is it just for per-club stat tracking kind of stuff?
Thanks!
