I live in rural NSW/small town

My previous employer or someone associated with them said defamatory things about me, which prevented me from getting a job.

In small towns reputation is very important as evryone knows evryone and gossip spreads fast.

I know my resume is good and employeers like my qualifications as I have applied for jobs outside my town and I got called for interviews in all of them. But in my small town I get none.

Any advice is much apreciated.
