Waitlisted for the MID 2 year program

Hi, I had a few questions about the MID two-year program.

Has anyone been waitlisted and then later received an offer?

For the Fall 2026 intake, when does the program typically start and end? When do students usually graduate?

I’d also like some details about the internship or co-op opportunities, how does the second year look, especially the final semester?

Are the classes mainly in-person or virtual during the second year.

I’m currently waitlisted, so any insights would be really helpful.

Planning a pregnancy while pursuing masters

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice or success stories from anyone who has managed a Master’s degree in Canada while starting a family.

**The Context:**

My husband (35 M) and I (30F) are married since 4.5 years. I’ve recently been waitlisted for a Masters program for Fall 2026. This is my dream program, and I’m hopeful a spot will open up! I am also not sure if delaying to have my first child is a good idea since I intend to have 2 children. Considering even my husband’s age, I was considering getting pregnant during the first year of my course and taking pregnancy leave for a semester or so. Does anyone have any advice on this situation , would be really helpful.
