help me!?

First thing, I’ve been diabetic for 17 years now. I did really well in the beginning of my diagnosis like every other does lol A few years into it, I hated diabetes and basically let my A1C go above 12% for some time. Found out I was pregnant in 2024 and got my levels down. I’m still currently doing well. Somewhere under 8%. I’m currently pregnant. I know levels should be much lower and whatnot. Honestly, I’m trying my hardest to do so. I need help remembering to bolus before meals/snacks/ any carb intake!! I don’t know why I just forget. I’m forgetful as is and it doesn’t hit me until afterwards and I’m like CRAP! I currently wear the medtronic 780 system and guardian 4. I let the pump do the work but as I’m pregnant, I wanna do better. My endo says if I would just correct my levels would be even better. How/what can I do to remember to bolus???

Nurse from my insurance called and congratulated me and whatnot. As we’re talking, I told her I was a type 1 diabetic. She asked me what my blood sugar was thing morning. and me being so proud (because honestly I’m not the best at my diabetes and I’ve been super hungry causing me to eat so much random stuff in our kitchen just to keep me satisfied) I said I was 110. She said “oh a bit high, huh?” 😂😂 It shocks/confuses me how Drs and nurses still lack knowledge in type 1 diabetes. I’m not the best diabetic but I keep my cgm and pump on as much as possible to help me 😅

So I recently found out I’m pregnant. And when you’re pregnant insurance gives you a call just to chat about pregnancy and whatnot. I told the nurse on the line that I was a type 1 diabetic. She said oh well you gotta take care of yourself!! What was your fasting sugar this morning? && me being proud said 110. And she said it was high!!! 😂 I held back my laugh but it still shocks/amazes me nurses and doctors think certain numbers are high!
