I will be renting a car from the airport branch in Syracuse, NY soon for a family vacation. I am unable to rent it in my name as I do not have a credit card and I will not be flying back out of Syracuse with the rest of my family, so I don’t have a ticketed return flight in my name.
The plan was to rent it in my dad’s name since he has a credit card, but he recently found out that he lost his physical driver’s license (we are not US citizens). He has a paper copy of an official temporary driver’s license, but the replacement ID will not arrive in time for our vacation.
Will the branch accept the temporary license together with other ID? Or can I rent with my debit card and produce my dad’s ticketed return flight as the second driver?
