Creepy messages from men on Depop

Hi all, I recently just listed a ton of stuff and modeled most of it. It’s a lot of body shots because if I were a shopper I would want to see clothing modeled. It’s mostly my own clothes that I just don’t wear anymore so I can do that.

I got a creepy message from a man, it’s the first time it’s happened. I’m not responding. Just waving and saying hi using my name, which isn’t in my username, so he was clearly stalking my store without the intention of buying anything. Just creeps me out.

Is it embarrassing for a 36 yr old woman to wear Hollister Jeans if they fit well?

I am figuring out how to appear more polished and serious. I have a more serious customer-facing role at work, where I have cultivated an entire other wardrobe of business clothes that make me feel confident. I mostly wear cream dresses and blazers, and white/cream/nude pointy pumps and flats.

In my casual life, I am a disaster. I have a lot of clothes left over from my 20s. There is part of me that automatically likes trends for 20 year olds.

I am 36. I am in great shape and love my body.

I love a good bootcut jean. I have most of mine from Abercrombie, and they have no labels or stitching design on them. They are just good denim that fits well and has an actual small bootcut flare rather than the huge bell bottom. I find most of them on ThredUP or depop. Hollister has some similar designs, and I know they would fit me really well, but there is identifiable stitching on the back pockets that feels teeny bopper to me. Should I just get the jeans, love them, and not care, or be more careful about cultivating a polished image? I can’t really figure out what to do and I’ve been stuck in this adolescent style time warp for a while and it is a source of shame.

My sales stopped completely after being very busy

Hi all, I started selling a couple of months ago and have sold about 31 items. It was going really well. I didn’t expect much, but things sold really quickly. I kept listing things and they just kept selling, even if it took a month or two.

I just sold most of my more appealing listings. I listed 15 more things today, and re-shot 20 of my more challenging listings yesterday, but it’s crickets. I’m worried that I’m going to have to just donate everything. I’m wondering if my prices are too high.

I feel kind of depressed because the sale was always such a rush and now it’s just silence.
