I’ve just finished this Toyota and used a really small bit of tape to hold the body to the chassis while the glue dried during final assembly, but after removing the tape it lifted the decal even after I had applied 3 or 4 coats of MrColor clear. Is that normal for clear coat, do I just need to be more careful in future?

First scale model I’ve built in 30 years, so I’m basically learning from scratch!
