Fit issues with Adidas Adizero Evo SL
Hey guys,
I'm a fairly new, average runner. Up until now, I've only used entry-level daily trainers, so I'm not used to more advanced shoes. My standard shoe size is a UK 8, and I'm pretty confident in that size since an 8 fits me perfectly in every other brand I've tried on.
Initially, the toe box felt tight, but wearing thinner socks helped. The real issue is when I actually run or walk: my foot keeps sliding forward, making my toes mash into the front of the shoe.
It doesn't feel like the shoe is strictly "too small", it feels more like the steep slope of the toe box (I've highlighted it in the pic) is actively pushing/sliding my foot forward with every step.
Is this a sizing issue, or is it just how these shoes are built? Let me know if you've had similar issues or if there's a fix!
P.S. : I did not get a chance to try them on before since they were a gift from my friends and i cannot get them replaced/returned as well
