Vivo fit question. I am getting a little pinky toe rubbing on my recent Vivo JJF purchase. Wondering if they will break in more or swap out for primus lites...

Hello I have been wearing Xero HFS II (blue shoe) and recently picked up some Vigo JJF Knits (black). The Xero's are an EU 43, the Vivo's are an EU 42. The length is the same in both, I tried on a 43 Vivo knit and they were very long. I am getting a little rubbing on my pinky toes. You can see where the pinky toe hits on each shoe in the photos.

The Vivo's certainly taper more than the Xero's, but I think the rubbing is mostly from the slight reinforcement tape? on the inside edge of the toe box.

I took out the insoles to make the shie roomier, and I jave been trying to fiddle with the fit bu adjusting the laces. But the laces cause bunching on the top of my feet that are uncomfortable and I haven't gotten a perfect fit yet probably due to the stretch in the knit.

I am wondering if the Primus Lites would fit a little better due to the laces actually locking down the two sides and the tongue so that my feet aren't moving as much and rubbing on the side.

Anyone else have experience with breaking in and dialing down fit in knits?
