
First attempt at pickling jalapeños. Please help
I finally decided to pickle my own jalapeños but I’m not too happy with the results. They are crisp, for the most part, and have good flavor but they turned yellowish brown and are a little mushy around the edges.
I used this recipe (https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/254513/pickled-jalapenos/), some pictures from others look similar but some look really green and crisp, unlike mine. What did I do wrong?
