Old Greek Coconut Guy
Me and my girlfriend came to Athens yesterday. It was really hot, so we just wanted something cold to drink. We came across an old guy (~50yo) selling coconuts and thought we’d check it out.
My girlfriend started asking what each thing was, and instead of just answering, he started making fun of the way she was asking and got pretty aggressive about it. It was honestly really uncomfortable.
I told her to leave, so we just turned our backs and walked away.
One of the worst interactions I’ve had while travelling. Not sure if we just got unlucky or if this is something others have experienced?
