Alexa is not good at picking photos to show

Is it called Echo Show to Show everyone the worst pictures possibly available to photo frame?

Apple TV / Widgets / Memories never picked a picture remotely close to this 😭

I thought I’d have to clean up my library and manually select for Apple TV & above. Turns out it’s vice versa

Apple’s insistence that the “iPad does more” while keeping it restricted to iPadOS is a financial strategy, not a technical one.

There’s no way anyone’s convinced that people buy both the iPad and the MacBook and use them differently because they want to… right? anyone?…. please don’t tell me you’re letting Joz deceive you.

People use iPad as touch first and for handwriting because…. drum roll please….. the Mac doesn’t let you! :D so we’re settling for overpowered hardware with locked software capability, while allowing the iPad to cannibalize Mac sales? You simply still cannot do everything on an iPad today, the iPad has been designed to give you just enough while keeping the chain secure to your Mac’s reliance. So where is this baloney data coming from? That consumers have magically “not chosen” to fuse the devices? My bets are that’s some internal opinion someone’s pushing. This whole video seemed like an ironic celebration of deciding to not push forward because Steve Jobs isn’t here to tell us to do so or that if he ever changed his mind.

When iPad gained additional window controls in OS 26, it appeared as if Craig was pushing either a “Look at how much we’re giving you so you finally don’t have to say it’s not as good as a Mac!” or rather a “Somebody please help me, I tried to tell them, these MFers didn’t let me implement it”

To make a short story long, critics agree that two iPhones (or a foldable) can often feel more productive than a "Giant iPhone" screen that can't run professional file systems or code. It seems by recent rumors they are about to sell you a capable iPad mini, with a SIM card, and questionable Apple Pencil support in September at the highest smartphone price yet; in a time where unemployment, house prices, gas, and cost of living, are extremely out of the norm. Thank you guys. Good luck

I suggest re-naming the iPad mini 8 to the iPhone Ultra mini SE (A19 Pro) with Apple Intelligence. AI, for the rest of us.

FINALLY YouTube Shorts allow you to hold the right side to play at faster speeds!

It doesn’t say how much speed or let you fine tune it like standard videos, but it’s about time. Out of habit every single day I’ve been holding the side as YT throws Shorts down my throat but they’ve been sooo tedious to get through cause some creators just blab, doing it today after I wrote feedback a couple of days ago feels like a huge win, ik it wasn’t my own doing but I’m thankful they’ve been listening and improving little by little.

The YouTube app on Apple Vision Pro has also been such a huge win for me. It’s basic, but seems like the Apple & Meta approach to first release bare bones to confirm everything works at a mass scale, then slowly implement the new niche features to ensure nothing breaks along the way

I didn’t see them talk about the Shorts update in the App Store notes, I hope they consider it so users can actually know what to expect and test features. Progress can move slower if people don’t even know there was an update. Then when they stumble on it accidentally, become confused and complain
