Hello all! First time posting in the sub and I’ve been active in Postcrossing for some time now, but this is a first. I ran out of postcards and found this set and decided to send it instead when I pulled this address but the recipient left this comment on the image and the following message:

"Postcrossing is all about postcards, not handwritten notes. If you don't have any postcards, this isn't the right hobby for you! I think it's outrageous to just write a few notes — what am I supposed to do with those? I collect postcards!"

And I’m feeling weird about this, because I used what I had and wasn’t expecting that response at all. I hope this doesn’t break any sub rules, I just want to know if I made a mistake here.
