She's speaking in Tyrrish here after the assembly was discussing what to do with her right in front of her in Tyrrish disrespecfully, as if she didn't just save all the marked ones' asses and almost died doing it...I wonder if they were speaking in common language before they realized she was listening then switching to Tyrrish thinking she won't understand - which will make this scene even more satisfying 😄

So...>!Tairn could have changed the outcome of the rebellion. It is so interesting because he will no longer fight for Navarre (or so I believe....) and I don't even think that's him switching sides. He is a dragon and has his own agenda so civil conflicts don't really matter to him. But it's just interesting because if there's another conflict, which might be imminent, the revolution might actually be successful since Navarre doesn't have Tairn (who was the determining factor for Navarre's win). Or Brennan. Or Lilith. And Mira's also with Aretian army. The only thing I am not sure about is whether Violet will feel okay wiping out Navarre soldiers if they attacked Tyrrendor. It's one thing to fight venin and wyvern but somerthing entirely different to strike a platoon of infantry soldiers. And the way her signet works, theres never a half measure and it's all or nothing. I'm inclined to think that she wont be using her signets for the civil conflict unless they involve other dragons and riders because then..she has no choice!<
I just need to see more of Sgaeyl mocking Xaden🤣🤣 Also his POV made him look like a normal 23 year old with a crush lolll

Rider before Violet? Would it have been her mom? By most powerful I mean most powerful/destructive in a battle, because even if someone has this amazing mending signet and the power itself may be super strong he can't exactly cause a lot of damage....>!I was re-reading IF and kinda wondered because Lilith had Garrick at swordpoint with hands in the air in IF and by that point she's gotta be at least 55 yo. And Garrick is literally a distance walker/wind wielder and a super human fighter...not to mention he has every reason to want to kill her or at least flee the scene. Which got me wondering if she was the strongest rider in a battle among her peers!<
So like...we see that venin remain youthful for hundreds of years and are very poweful and they seem to have some emotions...so my question is why don't more people turn venin? What would be the downside of someone just turning venin and living with her venin husband forever? Is it because they won't be humans anymore?
