HELP!!!! Moving to a college hostel next month and feeling incredibly anxious about my gynecomastia. Looking for advice on hostel culture.

Hey everyone,

I’m 18M and heading off to college/hostel next month. While I'm excited, I'm also dealing with a massive amount of anxiety. I have gynecomastia, and the thought of living in a shared space, changing clothes around roommates, or dealing with communal washrooms is genuinely terrifying me right now.

I really want to know what the reality of Indian hostel culture is like:

  • How judgmental are guys usually? Do people actually point these things out, or does everyone just mind their own business?
  • How do I navigate changing clothes or privacy if I have a shared room?
  • Are there any clothing/styling tips to make it less noticeable while walking around campus or the hostel? (Especially during hot months when layers aren't an option).

If anyone here has gone to a hostel while dealing with gyno , how did you handle it? Any advice, hacks, or reassurance would mean the world to me right now. Thanks in advance.
