Hojicha Affagato 🤎

Usucha with hojicha instead of matcha. Used about 40ml of room temperature water with 4gm Hojicha. Sifted before preparing.
Served over a scoop of vanilla icecream.
Hits the spot, very refreshing. Shared this with my sibling ;)

Deinfluencing Post 1.1: Luxe Lip Balm (Prada-Prada Balm)

Tell me why the packaging on a 50 US dollar lip balm (yes, in this economy) is not sturdy enough to keep it protected? Why is a 4500 INR lip balm not packed such that the body is safe in its OWN sleeve? Or are we being sent reject items because of being a third world country?
Brands will keep million dollar brand trips for influencers but provide absolute garbage quality checking to the actual product in the luxe category for actual money? When did this become normal?

Product itself is a 3/10. Expected better colour payoff, does not swatch as heavy as the marketed images. Conditioning itself is fine, it is moisturising and the glitter is not gritty at all. My only reasoning behind purchasing this was that I have never before seen a lip balm with fine enough glitter that I can wear out without getting overstimulated.

Biggest Pro on this lip balm: magnetic cap, does not come undone on its own.

Also purchased the Dior Lip Balm (one with dior engraved on the translucent pink tube) for my birthday gift, I find that one to be bad in terms of conditioning. For me it made my lips feel chapped instead, constantly have to reapply, not suitable at all on dry days.

Luxe lip balms are not necessary. Save your coin. Find a mid tier lip balm that works for you and stick with it instead.

Personally recommend Vaseline tube lip balm (dirt cheap and gets the job done, apply right on top of your daily face moisturiser or add a drop of Hyaluronic Acid and seal with any emollient)
Keeping hydrated in general is much more cost effective, your kidneys will thank u too!
