Collection on my credit for Comcast but I’ve never had Comcast
A collection from Eastern Account System recently showed up on my credit report for an alleged Comcast/Xfinity debt.
The issue is that this is not mine, and I have never had Comcast service.
I disputed it with all three credit bureaus, but all three disputes came back unsuccessful/verified.
Has anyone dealt with a similar Comcast/Eastern Account System collection that wasn’t theirs and successfully got it removed? If so, what steps worked for you?
