Chicken cheesesteak hoagie - Oregon Steaks

Haven't been to this South Philly establishment in over 10 years. Solid low 8, high B tier chicken cheesesteak. The Corropolese roll was truly the star. Must have been a super fresh delivery this morning! Hot peppers definitely elevated it, but such is life when getting the chicken.

It's a Friday night sandwich photoshoot

Oven roasted turkey breast + pepperoni & American cheese & air fried on top of white wonder. After a second stay in the AF I put in a ranch romaine salad and some Cholula. Hit the spot! The romaine made it fresh like you were eating a salad and the pepperoni had nice crunchy edges. The lettuce was sliding out so I figured I might as well wrap it. No wax or parchment so foil had to suffice. Enjoy the show.

Pepperoni, roasted turkey, provolone, arrabbiata sauce & hoagie spread on a Liscio's poppy kaiser

Put the pepperoni over the layered turkey into the air fryer to crisp a little, then added the sauce & relish, topped with provolone and back into the AF for another 90 seconds.

I asked for marinated tomato added. This was SO GOOD. And hefty. The roasted garlic spread was incredible. Cutlets were perfect and fried to order. Didn't see Gary though.

Really really good, fresh and light tasting (If that's possible for an Italian hoagie). The balsamic vinegar was a nice change of pace since it's normally red wine vin and the Sarcone's seeded was on point. One of the best I've had in this area of Delco. I need to get a hot sandwich and a cutlet on my next trip!

Could have went heavier on the pesto, hand up that's on me. The crunch and the brightness of the brussel salad was great though.

John's Roast Pork on a beautiful Friday afternoon

With surprise meatball!!! Their steak is number one in my book but I decided to switch it up today and try their meatball. I wasn't disappointed. The meatballs were tender and flavorful and then you got the melted Cooper cheese underneath at the bottom after your first bite. Red sauce is top tier, I get it on my steak Milano. The roast pork was A+ always but this one was a little slippery on the outside. Still a great lunch. Gonna go take a 3 hour nap.
