I shopped on booking.com via clickthrough from the Avios website, and on Saturday I got this email:
But nothing is showing up yet in my account. It doesn't show in the "Pending" section either. Must I wait longer?
I'm looking to travel from Belgrade to Budapest on 19 August. I went onto the Flixbus website and all of the express buses (6 hours) are fully booked!! This is the case every day from Aug 17th to 24th (well, the 23:30 departure is available). Then I checked the railway website for the Serbian portion of the 3-leg journey to get to Budapest (ie, Belgrade to Subotica) and it seems you can only book 2 months in advance, so today, the latest date I could look at is July 2nd, and the express trains are all full!!
What's the deal?
