I was wondering if anyone could share their insights on a dream I had a few months ago, I tried looking it up myself because it’s on replay in my head since then but I haven’t really had any luck in interpreting it well so I could better understand it so any insights offered would be appreciated 🙏

Some time ago I had a 3 part dream series, one dream for three nights each but it’s the last one that really was a bit disturbing so I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

The dream goes like this; I was in my apt in the kitchen when all of a sudden I started hearing a noise from the backyard, I wasn’t paying too much attention to it until the noise sounded odd so, I got closer to the back door to check and at first I didn’t see anything so I just started to pull the back door curtain down but then I heard it again and lifted the curtain again and took a better look outside and turned to look the left, it was daylight out and I was shocked to see a man in about his 20s chained with heavy thick chains to the side wall, he was saying something but I couldn’t make it out, he just looked deranged to me, I was very startled by the scene in the dream so I kinda just proceeded to untie the curtain and lower it down to pretend I didn’t see anything but then I clearly heard him say “you can’t stop me” and he was kinda laughing or something, it was night out now and I just quickly finished untying the curtain and closed the back door for safety and thought to myself “wtf, that was weird! And how did he get there, like that?!” - and that’s where the dream ended. Any ideas as to what it may represent?

Been thinking there’s a lot of combinations when it comes to the big 3 but for anyone who has these placements or a combo, what do you find is the difference between all three? I know they say cancers are the more nurturing and sensitive types but do you find any differences between all these placements or is it emphasised when there’s a combo of them or are maybe overly highlighted when all 3 are in cancer? And do you find your placements change when using a different house system? Thoughts?

Hello everyone!
As a beginner I’ve been diving into the different components of astrology and I have been wondering about these two options, it feels like choosing topocentric would be the logical choice seeing as from my understanding it is utilising the actual location on the Earth vs geocentric where it just uses the center of the Earth as the reference point/coordinate but from my observations it seems geocentric is the preferred or common choice and was wondering why that is; is it because that’s just been the norm or is there another reason for keeping to geocentric instead of topocentric? Any thoughts, what do you all use and why?

I’m new to astrology and have decided to embark on the journey of learning it but in doing so I’ve kinda hit my first road block of choosing a house system and zodiac type to use (I think I’ve settled on starting with western tropical for now), I’ve been looking at the differences between all the house systems and their setup of quadrant vs non quadrant and also looked at what they’re primarily used for but I’m still having trouble deciding on which house system to use since they all have a little something different but also have some disadvantages (like pole distortion causing intercepted houses) so I was wondering if anyone can share what made them decide the type of zodiac (Vedic vs tropical) and house system they choose to learn and the reason for choosing it? I think seeing how different astrologers use and apply them in practice might help me decide which to start with.
And if you can recommend some good books or YouTube channels that might by of help in understanding the various house systems and how their used/applied or interpreted that would also be great!
