The remains featured in this video are unlikely to be related to Epstein

(I have edited the remains out of the photo out of respect for the deceased)

Yesterday a video was posted featuring supposed human remains (in the form of bones) that the finder believed to be Epstein victims. The video was removed by the mods, but with how many people saw it I think it’s important to provide more information and context on the video. I hope mods will leave this post up as I think debunking where possible is important to researching the Epstein case, as it has been sensationalised enough as it is.

I was able to get in contact with u/firdahoe from r/boneID and r/bonecollecting, who is an expert in identifying human remains and was able to confirm that the remains featured in the instagram video are likely human. However, he also said that they are unlikely to belong to Epstein victims. Firdahoe believes these are likely the remains of people who crossed the border while seeking refuge in the United States but died before they could reach civilization. He has worked extensively in the area identifying remains of countless people who perished the same way.

The police are likely uninterested in collecting these remains because of how tragically common they are. It's estimated that 10,000-80,000 people have died attempting to cross the border into the US, leaving the desert littered with potentially thousands of human remains. Firdahoe explained that there are regular sweeps of the desert to remove these remains, it's just that there isn't enough time and resources to keep up with how many bodies are out there.

Please remember that these people’s lives matter just as much as Epstein’s victims and if you live in the USA, please keep them in mind when you vote. Nobody deserves the brutal death these people endured, and nobody deserves having to live with a missing loved one and being left not knowing what happened to them. These deaths are just going to continue to rise while the Epstein class is in power, both because these vulnerable people are being denied access to safe immigration, and because the rising global temperatures will make the desert even more dangerous to cross.

If you have the resources to spare, please consider donating to a charity that helps people in this dangerous situation. Firdahoe recommended the Colibri Center for Human Rights, and through my own searching I also found Humane Borders, a charity that manages water stations for those attempting to cross the desert.

Instagram user believes he has found human remains possibly linked to the Epstein case that authorities refuse to investigate. Can somebody here confirm whether they're human or not?

I'm sorry for the poor quality of these photos, as they are screenshots of an insta reel, which I have included a link to above. The screenshots I've chosen are of three separate bones shown in the video, but there appears to be more in the video that OP doesn't focus on for long as he's trying to show the whole area.

There are people debating whether these are animal bones that OP is using for clout chasing or real potential Epstein victims. OP claims they were found in close proximity to Zorro Ranch, and you can see in the video that some of the bones are still in clothing. OP claims the police will not investigate further due to the location being 'too remote'.

I'm sorry if this isn't allowed in this sub, but this is the only place, along with r/bonecollecting, that I can think of that has people actually qualified to assess these bones. I'm really hoping they're not human remains, but if they are people need to know so something can be done to reunite them with their loved ones and to be properly laid to rest.

Anybody here tried flamingo strawberries before?

I grew a white strawberry cultivar about 5 years ago and the berries were super sweet. Unfortunately, my grandma didn't know strawberries are perennial and tore them up at the end of the season, and I haven't been able to find them since. So I was super excited when I saw these available at my garden center and immediately snatched them, but reading online I've found people saying that they're rather flavorless.

The garden center also had a bunch of berry bushes available but I have limited planting space so I didn't get one, but I keep thinking about them. They had loganberry, boysenberry, green and red gooseberry, red currants, and a few more I don't remember. I want to go back for one but I'm unsure which to choose. I'm hoping that my building will let me turn this one empty section that used to be a playground into my own garden, but they didn't like my wildflower patch so they might not.
