A fully scale victory!

I am at the 6-month mark after my surgery, and things have been going really well! My anxiety brain likes to catastrophize and tell me I'm not making progress fast enough, but objectively speaking I have made a LOT of progress.

My starting weight was 263 lbs., and as of my last weigh-in last week, I am officially UNDER the 200-lb mark at 198 lbs.! That is 65 lbs. down, baybee!

On the non-scale victory front, I am down four dress sizes and am moving much more easily. It hasn't magically solved all my problems (alas), but there has been improvement on all fronts.

In a perfect world I would lose another 40-50 lbs. in the next year in order to get to a "healthy" BMI, but I haven't been this weight for at least 15 years, so I am already super excited to have gone under the 200-lb threshold. For me, that is HUGE.

*throws confetti*
