So much bugs in Legend of Khiimori :(

Today was the day I gave the game the very first try. I know it's still in an early stage, but many people told me they already had many hours in the game and enjoy it.

Maybe Im just not pleased with luck, but I have so much game issues it's not enjoyable. I get stuck a lot for one til two minutes while my horse is doing a moonwalk. I had to wait til the animation finish, then the game totally freeze for a minute and then it goes back to normal. This happend several times.

I also had to reset my characters position two times, because I hard stuck in a bridge.

The game has moments where it starts to flicker. I tried different graphic settings, but there is still this flickering over the complete screen from time to time.

But now, I had to stop playing, because the horse for the mountains doesn't appear in the menu. It tells me to change my horse, but the only horse I can select is my starter horse. I restarted the game, but it still doesnt appear. I will give this game half a year or a full year more development time.

What are your thoughts on a horse card game?

Sorry, I only work a German Version for the beginning.

I didn't really planned it that way, but I'm currently knee deep in the development of a horse card game. I love drawing horses, I love seeing them as unique characters, I also love games and card design. Due my years in HARPG (horse art roleplaying) I set up a lot of different roleplay mechanics and I also play all the horsey games who gets released.

I started and cancelled many previous horse game ideas I had. Video game developing and website building is not my thing, as far as I know xD I have so much respect for all the single devs out there.

But traditional print design? Wait, I have a degree in it!

Overall I sank several years of idea collecting, developing an art style and research! in these three cards I can show off today. There are also 57 horse cards with missing horse illustrations waiting 🥴

I plan to make prototyps (without art) for testing and balancing in the next weeks. I can tell you this much: I am trying to incorporate breeding mechanics and competitions into a card game using a simple (and hopefully addictive) workflow. Oh, and the areas above the horse illustrations are blank because you can write down a name for the horse. Horse naming is one of the collest part in horse games imo so I wanted to have this here too.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, I don't know how to phrase the question right. I'm a digital artist wanting to go deeper into traditional painting. My worst problem with analog colors is to time the color preparation correct. Sometimes I mix far too little paint, sometimes far too much. Often I need a color again later, but it's already dry and I have to mix it again, and then of course it's not the same color anymore. Sometimes I jump back and forth between different colors and change them so much that they end up looking completely different than they were at the beginning.

I guess, I have to use the colors in a specific order and I need to plan my painting that way. It's a thing I never needed in digital art, so I don't have a clue how to plan my color usage.

Can someone give me an idea how I can do it better without ending in a chaos of colors?

Many pet rabbits suffer from dental and digestive problems, and these issues often share the common cause of an inappropriate diet. Dry food, especially in the form of pellets, is still widely used, even though it does not meet the natural needs of rabbits.

Rabbits are highly specialized herbivores. Their teeth grow continuously throughout their lives and are designed to be worn down through long periods of chewing fibrous, structured food. At the same time their digestive system depends on a constant intake of fiber-rich, fresh plant material.

This is where pellets become problematic. Dry food is too energy-dense, too soft and too concentrated. It is consumed quickly and requires far less chewing than natural food. As a result, the teeth are not worn down sufficiently, which can lead to sharp edges, misalignment and pain. At the same time, the lack of structure and fiber disrupts the delicate balance of the gut flora, increasing the risk of digestive problems such as bloating or diarrhea. Because pellets are filling, rabbits often eat less hay and fresh food, which further worsens both dental and digestive health.

Rabbits are natural grazers that spend many hours each day eating. This constant intake of fibrous plants is essential not only for digestion but also for proper tooth wear. When this natural behavior is replaced by concentrated dry food the entire system is thrown out of balance.

Dental and digestive health are closely linked. If a rabbit experiences pain while eating, it will reduce its food intake, which slows down gut activity. In turn, poor digestion negatively affects overall health and feeding behavior. This creates a cycle in which both systems reinforce each other's problems.

A healthy, species-appropriate diet is based on natural feeding habits. Rabbits should receive a variety of fresh greens, like grasses, herbs and leafy vegetables, which forms the foundation of their diet. In addition, hay should always be available. This type of food provides the necessary fiber, encourages prolonged chewing and supports a stable digestive system.

Pellets, grain-based mixes and sugary foods are either unnecessary or should only be given in very small amounts, if at all. They do not contribute to natural tooth wear and can disrupt normal digestion.

Ultimately, feeding a rabbit means supporting both its dental and digestive health at the same time. Many common health problems in pet rabbits are not unavoidable, but the result of improper feeding. By providing a diet that is rich in structure and fiber, it is possible to prevent many of these issues and significantly improve the rabbit's quality of life. Responsible rabbit care begins with an understanding of their natural dietary needs.
