I’m interested in applying for citizenship for myself and my daughters (eventually) via my Oma. I think I would have to be accepted as a citizen before them? I requested my Oma’s birth certificate and marriage certificate through Darmstadt last week. Hoping I did that correctly. My cousins and aunts are still in Darmstadt and could help me get documents if I’m not able to get them myself. I am a bit lost on the process. Would someone be able to break it down for me?

My Oma meant the world to me. She was the person I spent the most time with growing up so this all means a lot.

My second baby has been a dream to breastfeed! My first had latch issues, triple fed for 3 months exclusively pumped for 10 and it was brutal. Feeding my current baby has been so lovely and calming. In the chaos of having a 2 year old and a newish baby feeding her is one of the only things that makes me feel calm and happy. I had PPD with my first and don’t this time- wondering if the breastfeeding is the thing that has helped so much.
