I got this set tailored recently. The vest and pants are supposed to be linen and the jacket a blend of linen and cashmere.

Even though custom-made, there was no pinning on the body or multiple fittings. They just measured me and had everything ready the next day.

Is this well-tailored and well-fitted? How would you rate it out of 10? I feel the jacket might be slightly too long. The v of the vest is shallow because I asked it to be. The pants hopefully would be the right length with heels. What alterations are needed and possible?

I recently got my first formal suit jacket tailored. Before going in, I had researched and read that a formal jacket should ideally cover the butt. I left all measurements upto the tailor and they suggested a similar length so I went ahead with it. But now, after seeing the final result, I feel like the jacket length makes me look even shorter than I am (5’). Should I get it cropped? Would it even be possible to do so now?

The post I’m looking for had a photo of some lovely clothes with indigo work from one of the villages around Sa Pa, Vietnam. I think the OP had said something about visiting a workshop, seeing the processes and getting a pair of pants, a top and/it or a layering shirt for under 50 USD. It was on a Vietnam-related community.
