Long Tumblr Thread About Mermaids

I randomly remembered this mermaid post again and I just want to find it and reread it. Not sure if it's against the rules but I'm looking for a thread that's a result of several blogs collaborating with each other not really asking about a specific blog.

I've posted this on the r/find subreddit a couple of years ago to no success, but I wanted to try again. I remember it having fairly a lot of notes too so I know that it made its rounds across the platform. Maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about, hopefully.

Does anyone have a link to that long Tumblr thread that starts with someone saying something like, “what if mermaids didn’t die? what if they just grew and grew?” something like that. I think they were compared to lobsters?

And then the thread ends with someone making a story about a mermaid falling in love with a human and when her partner dies she eventually goes back to live in the ocean. letting her descendants rule. but like one day she comes back to help or something and when she surfaces she’s enormous. I think someone even added art they made for the story at the end of the thread.

Anyway if someone finds the link to this very specific post I'll be forever grateful. Or even just pointing me to the right direction of someone who would know something about this.

Help find post I heard on YouTube

when I want some background noise to hear while doing something repetitive on a game, I'll let reddit stories play until I'm done. one story I heard was about a man and his severe addiction to a pill that he was spending all of his money on. the story was about how he took them so frequently that he had to keep upping the amount he would take to feel anything. he states that he had been admitted to the hospital multiple times from seizures, and ends with him taking 400 at once and never being heard from again.
