Hi y’all I’m planning on sewing magnets into heavy canvas and bug netting for my RV. Curious would a singer heavy duty be up to the task? Also I have very limited sewing experience I don’t need my work to look pretty just functional and durable, would these materials present an a significant challenge or can I figure it out online?
After years of saving planning a roadtrip around the country starting June 1 to Thanksgiving budget is about $20k (~$100/day). Traveling in a diesel sprinter van (~15 mpg) contains a bed, shower, kitchen anticipated ~$6k in diesel. Third cross country roadtrip, first in the van. Any suggestions for an additional spots or areas to take out. Debating no California due to costs and difficulty car camping and replacing that leg with Crater Lake -> Tahoe/Reno -> Zion.
Curious why when you click on some profiles you see comment and post history and other times it is black. How do you toggle this on/off? Thank you!
Hi ya’ll I’m currently trying to plan my roadtrip in my sprinter van for this summer. I DO NOT have a/c capabilities with my battery supply but I have a MaxxAir Maxxfan Deluxe Camper Van Roof Vent Fan. My van is well insulated as it is geared towards colder weather travel and this will be my first summer in the van. Any suggestions on how to stay cool? My one fan can push air in or out of the vehicle. I was planning to visit friends and family in Alabama and Florida late June / early July but with the heat and humidity should I delay exploring the southeast USA for when it isn’t hot? I have shore power capabilities and could get a portable fan but would require a proper RV park and I am hoping to limit that.
