First shoot using the AVATA 360 !!

Shot my first video with the AVATA 360 and it turned out decent. Using googles n3 and motion controller 3 is just a breeze. The controls come pretty natural to hand movement but if i wish they had added bend the wrist or moving the hand left or right to bank would have been great instead of just rotating the wrist clockwise or anti clockwise. Also a bit more speed in the sports mode. It’s just a slight bump from normal 16 to 18 m/sec.

But editing on iOS using the Dji fly app is a PITA. Specially rolls.

Dji fly app for editing AVATA 360 video sucks !!

Wow had high hopes to edit my first AVATA 360 videos. But the moment I downloaded them to the Dji fly app on my iPhone the nightmare began. Try doing a 360 roll in ur video, man it’s totally in ur luck. Sometime it works. Most of the times it will roll 180 clockwise and then go 180 anti clockwise. Did all kinds of tricks setting at 170 and 359 degrees. Nothing seems to work. Then there is no speed adjustment at at in 360 mode. Forget about ramp. The most simple task of just cutting the clips at different locations and deleting sections is a task.

Man they made such an awesome drone. But the app sucks. Look at the insta360 app for editing. Gold standard.

Which app r u guys using.

I just purchased a DJI Ata 360 Drone combo back in China. I had no idea that now in China you need to have a Chinese SIM card and CAAC registration. So when I connected my drone to my DJI app and activated it and updated the firmware then the moment I attempt to fly, it showed that OK you cannot do that unless until you register. I will be going back to India in a few days. Is there any way that I can deactivate the drone again put it back to factory state then take it to india and then again do the activation process. Will that allow me to register the Drone on DJI and the flight restriction which I am getting in China will be removed ? Any kind of help and information will be appreciated.
