Lufthansa crew appreciation after a very unfortunate situation

Just landed in Japan after a very long Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt. Unfortunately, when I got to my seat, there was still a wet urine stain from the previous flight passenger. Not exactly the start of a 12h+ flight anyone hopes for 😅

The aircraft was completely full, so the cabin crew couldn’t move me anywhere else, but I honestly want to highlight how professional and kind the flight attendant handling the situation was.

He apologized multiple times, tried to find alternatives, covered the seat as best as possible with blankets, brought me a First Class pajama set to change into, and before landing even came back with chocolates from First and Business Class and apologized again for the inconvenience.

Obviously not an ideal experience, but I really appreciated the empathy and professionalism from the crew in a difficult situation they didn’t create themselves.

Now hoping my Osaka return flight goes a little more smoothly 😂
